What this site does
lagoslife.xyz covers Lagos Life, the free browser life-simulation game set in Lagos, Nigeria. It does two things:
- We let you play the game here. The game window loads Lagos Life directly from its official servers, windowed like a normal browser game, with a fullscreen option and a one-click escape to its own tab.
- We write about it properly. Guides to how it works — the daily cycle, NEPA, the election, the money, the map — written from actually playing the game rather than paraphrasing a press release.
How we write
Everything factual on this site comes from using the game and from the game's own public data. Where we describe the election, the daily cycle, the locations or the money, we are describing what we observed — not guessing and not rewriting a press release.
Our editorial rules:
- No invented mechanics. If we have not seen a system in the game, we do not write a guide about it.
- We say when we are unsure. If something is likely to change, we say so.
- We tell you the awkward parts. Including that sign-in can fail inside an embed, that the game is 18+, and that in-game naira cannot be cashed out.
- We correct things. If the game changes, the guides should change with it.
The site is updated as the game does. The current guides were last reviewed on 2026-10-05.
How the site makes money
Right now, it does not. There are no ads on this site, no affiliate arrangements, and no paid placements in our guides. If that changes, this page will say so plainly and clearly, because a guide that takes money from the thing it reviews is worth less than one that does not.

Corrections, questions, or a takedown request: hello@lagoslife.xyz. Takedown requests from the game's developers get priority and will be actioned without argument.
Credits
Lagos Life is created by Shalom Rayhamen and operated by Eliy, and all credit for the game, its world, its art and its systems belongs to them. A browser game that put a million people into a virtual Lagos in three days is a genuinely good thing for Nigerian games.
All artwork on this site is original and drawn for it. We do not use the game's art assets.
