The ground rules

Terms of use

Plain terms for using lagoslife.xyz: what you can expect from us, what we expect from you, and how third-party services are handled.

1. This site

lagoslife.xyz is a guide and play page for the game Lagos Life. By using this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

2. Third-party services

Lagos Life is operated by a third party, Eliy. This site links to it and embeds it, but does not control it. Specifically:

  • We do not develop, host or operate Lagos Life, and we sell nothing on its behalf.
  • We cannot help with accounts, passwords, bans, saves, purchases, refunds or support requests. Those are handled by the game.
  • Your use of Lagos Life is governed by the game's own terms of service, not these terms.

3. The embedded game

This site loads Lagos Life from its official servers into an embedded window. By using that window you are using the game directly, under the game's terms. Two practical points:

  • The embed may stop working at any time. The game's operators can prevent embedding whenever they choose. If that happens, use the Open in new tab button, which always works.
  • Sign-in inside the embed is not reliable. Browsers block third-party cookies inside embeds. Use Sign up / Log in for anything involving an account.

4. Accuracy of our guides

We write our guides from playing the game, and we work to keep them accurate. But Lagos Life is in active development: features change, systems get rebalanced and things break. We cannot guarantee that everything on this site is current, and we are not liable for decisions you make based on it.

If you spot something wrong, tell us at hello@lagoslife.xyz and we will fix it.

5. Age

Lagos Life is an 18+ game. This site is written for adults and is not directed at children.

6. Intellectual property

The name Lagos Life and all game content, art and systems belong to their creators. We claim no rights over any of it, and we do not use the game's artwork on this site.

The written guides and the original artwork on lagoslife.xyz are ours. You are welcome to quote or link to us with attribution. Do not republish our guides wholesale.

7. Acceptable use

Use the site normally. Do not attempt to disrupt it, scrape it aggressively, or use it to break the game's own terms — for example by automating play or trying to circumvent the game's 18+ requirement through us.

8. No warranty

This site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that it will be available, error-free, or that the embedded game will load. We provide it free of charge and on that basis.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site — including lost game progress, failed payments made to the game, or account issues with Lagos Life. Those are matters between you and the game.

10. Links

We link to other sites, including the official game and other Lagos games. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The review date at the bottom of this page will change when we do, and continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.

12. Contact

hello@lagoslife.xyz — including for takedown requests, which are actioned promptly.
